We specialise in producing Nespresso-compatible capsules, working closely with coffee roasters from bean to capsule, through to personalised branding and packaging ready for distribution. Our capsule manufacturing business is growing quickly, and we are looking for an energetic, self-motivated person to join our fun and professional team.

The role

We have a full-time position available for an in-house Machine Operator and Production Technician. You will work across our fill-and-seal packaging lines, keeping equipment running efficiently, monitoring our QC while helping us meet our daily production targets.

Day to day, you will:

Inspect, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot and repair equipment as required.

Operate across our fill and seal packaging lines and take part in daily job changes.

Carry out routine preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.

Run test runs and quality checks to maintain consistent product standards.

Assist engineering contractors where needed.

Follow HACCP food safety policies and required housekeeping standards.

Record production data as needed and suggest ways we can improve efficiency.

About you

You will have fitter and mechanical knowledge, along with pneumatic and electronic experience, and have worked with automated machinery before. Experience in the coffee industry or a genuine interest is highly regarded, though not essential.

You should be punctual, well presented, and bring a positive attitude with a strong focus on quality. Good time management and the ability to manage your own workflow are important, as is basic computing skills and comfort working both independently and as part of a team.

What we offer

A genuinely family-friendly workplace, where you are part of a small, supportive team. On-the-job training to help you build your skills. Plenty of variety in your day-to-day work. Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. A negotiable salary based on your experience, skills and qualifications.
