Responsibilities
Assist customers at the branch by handling over-the-counter transactions such as savings accounts, fixed deposits, loans, and safe deposit box services.
Respond to customer enquiries through face-to-face interactions and phone calls, ensuring a professional and helpful experience.
Promote and introduce relevant banking products and services (e.g. accounts, credit cards, loans) based on customer needs.
Perform end-of-day reconciliation and balancing to ensure accuracy of all transactions processed.
Handle petty cash administration, including staff claims and reimbursements.
Maintain proper documentation and carry out basic administrative tasks to support branch operations.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements in all transactions.
Support the branch team with ad-hoc duties and operational tasks when required.
Requirements:
Possess at least a GCE “O” Level Certificate or equivalent, preferably with customer-facing or banking experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset.
Detail-oriented with good numerical accuracy and the ability to handle cash transactions responsibly.
Able to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to operational needs.
