About the Role
Metric Corporate Services is a Perth-based fractional CFO and business advisory practice. We are recruiting a BI-focused Business Analyst to operate full-time on-site at one of our clients - a growing organisation based in South Perth.
This is a genuine greenfield opportunity for someone who wants to build something from scratch. You'll take full ownership of the BI and reporting function, embedding yourself across departments and becoming a trusted partner to finance, operations, and leadership teams alike.
What You'll Be Doing
Establishing the BI and reporting function from the ground up
Designing, building, and maintaining dashboards and reports that drive decision-making
Taking ownership of data governance, data quality, and reporting standards
Working cross-functionally to gather requirements and understand the needs of each department
Translating complex data into clear, meaningful outputs for non-technical audiences
Supporting month-end reporting and financial analysis alongside BI deliverables
Assisting the Finance Manager with ad hoc financial tasks as required
Driving process improvement and technology adoption, including AI-assisted tools and automation
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems (essential)
CA, CPA, or working towards (desirable)
3-6 years' experience in a business analyst, BI, or finance role
Financially literate with hands-on accounting or reporting experience
Proficiency in Power BI or similar tools
Experience with MYOB Acumatica (desirable)
A genuine interest in AI implementation and emerging technologies
A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and is comfortable building processes from scratch
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation
Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with non-technical stakeholders and department heads
Immediately available or on short notice preferred

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
On-site in South Perth
