Meaningful work, close to home
At Common Ground Health, we're building something regional communities have been missing: high-quality allied health delivered locally, by clinicians who live where they work. No long commutes, no feeling like a small cog in a big machine — just rewarding work helping people in your own community live fuller, more independent lives.
We're looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist ready to share and grow their clinical skills supporting NDIS, Private & Aged Care participants in a supportive, quality-focused team.
About the role
You'll work with participants of varying ages and abilities, helping them build capacity, independence and confidence in everyday life. Day to day, you'll:
Complete functional capacity assessments and contribute to NDIS reports and plan reviews
Prescribe assistive technology and recommend home modifications
Develop and review goal-based, participant-led therapy plans
Support daily living skills, independence, and community participation
Work with participants living with disability, developmental differences and complex needs
Collaborate with families, support coordinators and a connected multidisciplinary care team
Keep clear, quality clinical documentation aligned with NDIS requirements
Quality and supervision at the core
We take clinical quality seriously, and we back our clinicians to do their best work:
Regular, structured clinical supervision — not an afterthought, but part of how we operate
A robust clinical governance framework and genuine peer support
Realistic caseloads and admin time that respects the quality of your work
A team culture where asking questions and learning is expected, not just tolerated
Room to grow
This is a stepping stone, not a ceiling. As part of a growing multi-site network, you'll have:
Career opportunities to match your life.
A generous professional development allowance and dedicated PD time
Mentoring from experienced clinicians and exposure to varied, complex caseloads
The chance to help shape services in a growing organisation
About you
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and full AHPRA registration
Multiple years post-graduate experience
Experience in NDIS, paediatric, disability, aged care or community settings is highly regarded
A participant-centred approach and genuine care for the people you support
NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Why Common Ground Health
Rewarding, purpose-driven work with real impact in your local community
Live and work close to home — a genuine work/life balance
Strong supervision, quality systems and a supportive team
Career growth as we grow
Benefits and flexibility that match your life
