Whaleback Golf Course is undergoing a major transformation, and we're looking for enthusiastic Kitchen Hands to join us on this exciting journey.
With improvements underway across the venue, including a new kitchen, upgraded hospitality offering, enhanced facilities and exciting new experiences for our customers, there's never been a better time to join the team. Working alongside an experienced hospitality team, you'll play an important role in helping deliver exceptional food experiences for our golfers, visitors and community.
What’s on Offer?
$34.06 per hour + super (inclusive of casual loading) for employees aged 18 years and over

About the Role
As a Kitchen Hand, you'll be an important part of our back-of-house team, supporting chefs and food service operations to ensure the kitchen operates safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
This is a casual opportunity, with multiple positions available. Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and occasional evenings is essential.
A snapshot of your new role:
Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen duties
Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment
Wash dishes, cookware, utensils and kitchen equipment
Assist with receiving, storing and rotating stock
Support chefs during busy service periods
Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
What you will bring to the role:
Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or within a hospitality environment (desirable)
A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment
A positive attitude and team-first mindset
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and varied shifts
Ability to undertake physically active work and remain on your feet for extended periods
Current Satisfactory National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
