Do you enjoy working outdoors, leading by example, and supporting people to thrive? Workpower is looking for a hands-on and motivated Horticultural Support Coach to join South-West our team.
This role is perfect for someone with practical horticulture or landscaping experience who is passionate about making a genuine difference in people’s lives. No two days are the same — one minute you’ll be supporting employees with disability in maintaining outdoor spaces, the next you’ll be coaching workplace skills, building confidence, and helping people achieve their goals.
🌱 A Day in the Role:
Support and coach employees with disability in a horticulture environment
Work alongside the team maintaining parks, gardens, and outdoor spaces
Assist with mowing, whipper snipping, pruning, planting, and general grounds maintenance
Encourage independence, confidence, and workplace skill development
Promote safe work practices and an inclusive team culture
Assist with daily planning, productivity, and problem-solving on site
💪 What You’ll Bring
A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty!
Experience supporting people with disability or mental illness.
Commitment to safety and teamwork.
Qualifications or study in Horticulture, Conservation and Land Management, Environmental Science, or related fields — or equivalent hands-on experience.
🙋♂️ About You:
Practical horticulture, landscaping, or grounds maintenance experience
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Positive, proactive, and supportive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to supervise and mentor others in a workplace environment
Experience supporting people with disability or mental health challenges is highly regarded

NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check
Current First Aid Certificate
Current C Class Driver’s Licence
