Role: Dispatch Coordinator
Location: Girraween
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 + Super

This is a fast-paced and hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in logistics, planning, and transport coordination.
You will be responsible for managing daily dispatch activities, coordinating transport schedules, optimising delivery
performance, and ensuring operational efficiency across the supply chain.

  • Coordinate daily inbound and outbound freight movements
  • Schedule and manage carrier bookings and delivery runs
  • Plan and optimise delivery routes to maximise efficiency
  • Monitor daily dispatch targets, delivery performance, and DIFOT metrics
  • Analyse operational data and generate reports to improve planning outcomes
  • Liaise with drivers, suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders
  • Manage scheduling changes, delays, and urgent operational priorities
  • Ensure transport compliance, safety standards, and regulatory requirements are met
  • Support inventory flow and dispatch accuracy to meet production targets

Our client is a well-established Australian-owned business operating within the steel and construction supply industry, servicing
projects ranging from residential builds through to large-scale commercial and infrastructure developments.
With a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and service, they are seeking an experienced Dispatch Coordinator to join their
operations team and play a key role in ensuring smooth daily transport and planning operations.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring strong coordination skills, operational awareness, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in dispatch, transport, logistics, or production planning
  • Sound understanding of transport compliance and workplace safety
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and distribution operations
  • Experience coordinating high-volume delivery schedules in fast-paced environments
  • Strong planning and scheduling capability with excellent time management
  • Experience using ERP systems, transport software, and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
