About the role

Coho Group Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Body Truck / Truck & Dog Operators to join our team on a contract basis in Roma, QLD. As a key member of oil and gas drilling operations, you will play a vital role in transporting and land spraying drill waste material.

What you'll be doing

Operating our Landspray Units, which includes a custom built tri-axle truck with vacuum tank and agitator system, and a quad axle dog with vacuum tank and agitator system.

Drill Rig support. Transporting water, mud and drilling waste materials between work sites, land spray sites and/or disposal facility.

12-hour shifts, 6am - 6pm or 6pm - 6am. Alternating each swing.

Daily pre-start inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working order

Submitting Daily Reports

Open communication with your site representative and Coho Supervisor

Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment

What we're looking for

Valid open HC or MC driver's licence

Experienced 18 speed road ranger transmission.

Minimum 1 year of truck and dog/heavy vehicle operating experience

Oil and gas industry experience preferred, however mining or other heavy transport experience will be considered

Knowledge of relevant transport, heavy vehicle, and workplace health and safety regulations

Hands on operators, forward thinkers and planners
