About the role

Our core business involves substation equipment installation, cable wiring and connections, and on-site testing. We are seeking an Engineer to support the design, planning, coordination, and execution of these activities, with opportunities to develop into a project management role.

Key responsibilities

Review drawings, technical specifications, cable schedules, testing requirements, customer requirements, and site conditions

Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution

Monitor installation, cable connection, and testing activities, and report progress, issues, and risks

Plan and coordinate equipment installation, cable routing and termination, testing, and commissioning activities

Support material planning, subcontractor coordination, cost estimation, and issue resolution

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and customer requirements

Prepare and update drawings, technical documents, calculations, and test records

Develop method statements, work procedures, and risk assessments

Prepare procurement documents, site plans, progress reports, presentations, technical notes, and meeting minutes
