Concentric Concepts is a Queensland-based security and protective services company supporting industry, government, and critical infrastructure environments. We deliver practical outcomes through experienced personnel, structured systems, and strong operational leadership.

Our work spans mining and resources, workplace risk management, critical incident response, and specialised security and emergency response operations. We are currently expanding our casual ESO workforce to support ongoing site operations in the Bowen Basin.

The Role

We are seeking experienced Emergency Services Officers to deliver first response capability within a coal mining environment on a 7 days on / 7 days off roster. The role involves a combination of 12-hour day and night shifts. You will be the first response to incidents and emergencies on site, returning operations to a safe and stable state post-incident.

Key Responsibilities:

First response to fire, road crash, vertical, confined space, hazmat, and medical incidents –

Emergency vehicle and equipment readiness, checks, and maintenance

Conducting drug and alcohol testing in line with site procedures

Participating in skills maintenance training and site emergency drills

Supporting site safety, prevention, and emergency preparedness functions Accurate logs, reports, and shift handovers

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Applicants must hold prior to deployment:

RII30719 Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue

HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid –

HLTAID015 Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy

HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Current Coal Board Medical – Standard 11 Generic Induction

Drug and Alcohol Testing qualification (HLTPAT005 or equivalent)

Current Driver's License (Open Manual)

Applicants should also demonstrate:

Strong communication and written reporting skills

Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure

Sound judgement and the discipline to operate within structured procedures

Professional presentation and reliability

Full Australian working rights

Highly Regarded:

Previous emergency response experience in mining, energy, or critical infrastructure

Background in fire and rescue, ambulance, military, or specialist emergency services

HR Truck Licence (not required, but advantageous)

Flights from Brisbane to Moranbah provided

Company transport from Moranbah to site
