Your Role

We are currently looking for Part-time Educators who have obtained a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care to work in our Out of School Hours Care services with children in Preschool - Year 6.

You will provide high-quality education and care in a team that encourages and supports each other. Your passion for working with children and families will build positive relationships. We value people with initiative, reliability, and motivation, as well as creative educational ideas to support our team deliver quality services.

With multiple locations in schools across North and South Canberra, we have a place for you close to home. Our services operate between 7 am and 9 am in the mornings, and between 2 pm and 6 pm in the afternoons, 5 days per week.

What We Need from You

Maintain current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.

Minimum of Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of service standards and quality improvement processes.

Demonstrated ability to actively participate in teamwork and contribute towards the development of a productive team culture in a diverse work environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Sound understanding of Early Education and Care National Quality Frameworks – Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) for 0-5 years, and My Time Our Place (MTOP) for school age children.

Strong understanding of the National Laws and Regulations

Desirable

Current drivers licence

Senior First Aid certification

Mandatory Reporting certification

Food Safety certification

Experience in working in an Education and Care service
