An exceptional opportunity has become available for an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to join our Executive Team. This unique position offers a comprehensive transition and handover period, with the successful applicant working closely alongside the current Finance Manager as they prepare for retirement.

About the Role

Reporting to the Directors, the Finance Manager is responsible for leading the organisation's finance function.

You will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of TassieCare Services while managing a dedicated team of four employees across payroll and accounting functions. As a member of the Executive Team, you will work collaboratively with managers and directors to support informed decision-making, organisational growth, and financial sustainability.

A structured handover process will allow you to gain a thorough understanding of all finance and payroll functions before gradually assuming full responsibility for the role.

About You

You are a hands-on finance professional who combines strong technical expertise with leadership capability. You enjoy supporting and developing staff, improving systems and processes, and contributing to organisational success at both operational and strategic levels.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, Finance or a related discipline.

CPA or CA qualification (or working towards) will be highly regarded.

Experience

Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a senior finance leadership role.

Experience managing accounting and payroll functions.

Experience with financial management software such as Xero.

Demonstrated experience working within complex compliance environments.

Experience with the SCHADS Award is highly desirable.

Experience within the NDIS, disability, community services, health, or not-for-profit sectors is highly desirable.
