As a Prepress Operator, you will manipulate, set and compose text and graphics into a format suitable for printing. To succeed you will have a meticulous eye for detail and be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. As part of a small team, you are able to communicate effectively with other stakeholders. More specifically your duties will include the following:
Pre-flight customer files
Proof and impose files for print
Maintain file systems including updates generated by customer
Ensure barcodes are to GS1 standard
Set up and process variable data printing
In determining suitability for the role, the following criteria are considered essential:
Competent using Adobe Creative Cloud to generate images, text, and layouts
Skilled at evaluating printed proofs and correcting them for quality
The following criteria are considered desirable:
Certificate III in Prepress Graphic Design Production or equivalent experience
Previous prepress experience in the label industry
