As our Procurement Partner, you will enjoy balancing commercial outcomes, stakeholder relationships and governance requirements. Drawing on your procurement expertise, you will lead sourcing activities from market analysis through to contract execution, negotiate with suppliers and influence stakeholders to achieve solid outcomes.
Reporting to the Senior Procurement Partner, you'll partner with leaders across the organisation to deliver strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier performance and category initiatives across a diverse portfolio, while working closely with our Procurement Coordinators.
This is a 100% work from home role, and we welcome applications from metropolitan and regional areas on the East-Coast of Australia.
Your role
- Lead category planning including, end-to-end procurement activities, market analysis, sourcing strategies, tender management, evaluation and supplier selection.
- Negotiate contracts, supplier agreements and rate cards to deliver sound commercial outcomes.
- Manage supplier relationships, contract governance, compliance and performance, renewals and variations.
- Analyse spend data and market trends to identify commercial opportunities and efficiencies.
- Contribute to procurement reporting, dashboards and contract management activities.
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver commercially sound, risk-aware procurement solutions.
You’ll bring
With significant experience in procurement, sourcing and contract management, you will also have a proven track record of leading end-to-end procurement activities from market analysis and tendering through to contract negotiation and supplier management.
You will also bring experience in providing day-to-day guidance, coaching and support to Procurement Coordinators, helping to build capability and ensure timely delivery of procurement outcomes.
You also have:
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance value, risk and governance while delivering practical business outcomes.
- Experience negotiating contracts, managing medium to high-value commercial contracts.
- Confidence influencing stakeholders, constructively challenging when required, and making informed decisions.
- Strong analytical capability, including the use of spend data, reporting and market insights to identify opportunities and improve outcomes.
- Experience across categories relevant to health, aged care or community services, including brokered client services, support workers, clinical and allied health services, professional services, corporate goods and services, property and facilities, and fleet management will be highly regarded.
- Experience in ICT/SaaS procurement will be highly regarded.
- Experience with TechOne, Power BI and online procurement platforms will be highly regarded.
Your Qualifications:
The following are desirable:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline; and/or
- Professional procurement certification or membership with a recognised industry body such as CIPS, MCIPS or PASA.
