Organisational Development Business Partner | Local Government
The Opportunity

This 7-month contract role focuses on Learning & Development within a large local council. You'll design, develop and facilitate leadership programs, workshops and learning initiatives that support capability building across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver workshops, leadership forums and learning programs.
• Design engaging learning content, frameworks and outcomes.
• Manage workshops end-to-end, from planning through to delivery and evaluation.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to identify learning needs and deliver practical solutions.
• Refresh mandatory training and online learning modules.
• Deliver existing OD and learning programs with support from the team.
• Prepare content for key leadership forums scheduled throughout the contract period.

About You

• Experienced Organisational Development or Learning & Development professional.
• Strong workshop design and face-to-face facilitation skills.
• Solid understanding of adult learning principles.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Comfortable delivering training to groups ranging from frontline employees to senior executives.
• Experience with LMS platforms and Articulate is highly regarded.
• Able to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

The Environment

You'll join a supportive OD team delivering learning and capability initiatives across a diverse workforce. Training delivery ranges from small classroom sessions through to leadership forums and town hall-style events.
Contract Details

• 7-month temporary assignment.
• Hybrid working arrangement with up to 2 days WFH following induction.
• One-stage interview process.
• Start required from early December.
