Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service are looking for exceptional Psychiatry consultants to join our Inpatient Services unit within our Mental Health and Specialised Services department.
As a Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service employee your salary includes:
Base salary comprising of between:
- $8,511.50 - $9,886.50 p.f. (L18 – L24 Staff Specialist)
- $10,178.50 - $10,791.60 p.f. (L25 – L27 Senior Staff Specialist)
Standard allowances (additional to base salary):
- $23,395 p.a. (L18 - L24 Staff Specialist)
- $28,408 p.a. (L25 – L27 Senior Staff Specialist)
- $22,145 p.a.
- Motor vehicle allowance (pro rata for Part-time)
- Professional development allowance
- Attraction and Retention Allowance up to 50% of base salary
- Overtime and on-call allowances (paid by exception)
- Generous superannuation of up to 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- Annual leave loading

You will provide high quality Psychiatry care for our community, with a focus on leading safe care, driving quality improvement and innovation, and collaboratively contributing to department growth and development within a multidisciplinary team.

About Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service
Public health services in Queensland are provided through 16 Hospital and Health Services (HHS). These are statutory bodies each governed by a Hospital and Health Board. Some public health services are also provided by private providers.
The Department of Health is responsible for the overall management of the public health system in Queensland, including monitoring the performance of HHSs.
Service agreements are negotiated between the Department of Health and each HHS. The service agreement determines the services that the department will purchase from the HHS and how much it will pay for the provision of these services (ie. the level of funding to be provided).
