About the role

A Business Analyst role focused on collaborating with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, analyse business processes, and translate business needs into technical specifications. The role emphasises Design Thinking principles to solve complex business problems and deliver user-centric solutions, alongside stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration in an agile environment.

Key responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders (internal and external) to gather and document business requirements.

Analyse business processes, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for optimization.

Translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Develop user stories, use cases, and functional requirements for development teams.

Conduct impact assessments and feasibility studies for new initiatives.

Apply Design Thinking principles to solve complex business problems and deliver user-centric solutions.

Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to uncover user needs and define project scope.

Lead the ideation, prototyping, and user testing phases to iterate and improve solutions.

Act as the primary point of contact for business requirements, providing clear communication and updates.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, project managers, and product owners.

About you

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2 – 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.

Software or IT background.

Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).

1+ years of experience in QA testing, including manual testing, test case creation, and defect management.

Strong understanding of business analysis tools and techniques.

Knowledge of Design Thinking methodologies and user-centred design principles.

Ability to gather and analyse complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
