Programmed Skilled Workforce is currently looking for an experienced Electromechanical Tooling Technician to join our client’s team in Dubbo.

This is a full-time position for someone with a strong mechanical background and experience working with electrical and hydraulic equipment.

You will be responsible for keeping tools and equipment in good working condition, carrying out repairs and inspections, and making sure everything is safe and ready to use.

About the Role

Your day-to-day duties will include:

Inspecting, repairing and maintaining tools and equipment.

Fault finding across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment.

Carrying out testing, safety checks and basic calibration.

Reading drawings and checking parts and components.

Checking bearings, sensors, wiring and hydraulic components.

Preparing and organising tools and equipment for use or dispatch.

Keeping maintenance and inspection records up to date.

Managing tools and stock and making sure equipment can be easily tracked.

Following all safety, quality and workplace procedures.

Working with the team to improve day-to-day workshop processes.

About You

We are looking for someone who is practical, reliable and enjoys hands-on technical work.

You will ideally have:

Experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Technician, Electromechanical Technician, Tooling Technician, Toolmaker, Electrician or similar.

Good mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.

Experience with electrical and/or hydraulic equipment.

Ability to read basic technical drawings.

Good attention to detail.

Strong commitment to safety and quality.

Good communication and record-keeping skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Licence / Qualification

You will need to hold an unrestricted electrical licence or a relevant unrestricted trade licence/qualification, along with suitable electromechanical experience.
