Join a well-established and highly regarded national HVAC business with more than 45 years of industry experience and a strong presence across Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join the business during an exciting period of growth. Working across a diverse portfolio of commercial HVAC projects, you will take ownership of projects from commencement through to successful completion, while working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal delivery teams.

The Role

• Manage HVAC projects from contract award through to completion and handover.
• Take overall responsibility for project delivery, including programme, cost, quality and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Review project scopes, drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
• Manage project budgets, variations, forecasting and commercial outcomes.
• Develop and maintain project programmes and ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Manage procurement of equipment, materials and subcontractor services.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve risks and issues.
• Attend client, consultant and project meetings as required.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with relevant HSEQ requirements and standards.
• Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business.
• Provide leadership and support to project engineers, coordinators and site teams.
• Ensure accurate project documentation, reporting and handover processes.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within the HVAC/mechanical services industry.
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC project delivery.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects from commencement through to completion.
• Strong commercial and financial management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of subcontractor management, procurement and project coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• A proactive approach with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Construction Management or a related discipline are preferred but not essential.
