We're partnering with a globally recognised consumer retail brand seeking an experienced Store Leader to oversee a high-traffic Melbourne retail location. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative international business known for premium products, exceptional customer experiences and strong investment in its people.

Reporting to the Retail Manager, you'll take full accountability for store performance while building a positive and engaged team culture. This is not a role for someone who prefers to manage from the sidelines. We're looking for a leader who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, support the team on the floor and lead by example every day.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead and develop a team of retail professionals

Drive sales performance and customer experience outcomes

Manage store rosters, leave requests and workforce planning

Coach and manage employee performance

Communicate store targets, results and priorities with the team

Monitor key performance metrics and take action where required

Ensure merchandising, ticketing, promotional and operational standards are maintained

Maintain accountability for inventory, compliance and store presentation

Create a positive team culture built on accountability and collaboration

Support customers on the sales floor through product demonstrations and sales conversations when required

About You

To be successful, you'll likely bring:

Previous Store Manager experience within a retail environment

Demonstrated experience managing underperformance and coaching team members to improve results

A track record of achieving sales and operational targets

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

A hands on leadership style and genuine passion for customer service

The ability to balance team engagement with accountability and performance expectations

Experience within consumer electronics, technology retail or other customer focused retail environments will be highly regarded. Exposure to a global retail brand will also be advantageous.

Fixed term contract through to April 2027

Retail trading roster including one weekend day
