Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am start
Pay Rate: $51.95PH + Super + Daily Overtime
The Role
We're looking for reliable and experienced individuals to perform reo tack welding. This is a crucial role, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is committed to quality and safety. These positions guarantee up to 55-hour work week, providing stable and consistent work.
Key Responsibilities
- Tack welding and full-penetration welding of steel reinforcement cages, prefabricated footings, columns, and mesh according to site plans.
- Operating MIG, Stick, or flux-cored welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Interpreting engineering drawings, bend schedules, and structural plans.
- Maintaining high quality and structural integrity on all welds to meet Australian standards.
- Adhering to strict site health and safety guidelines at all times.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Reo Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of direct experience welding reinforcing steel (rebar, cages, and prefabricated reo modules) is essential.
- Valid trade qualifications or relevant ticketed welding experience.
- Current White Card (General Construction Induction).
- Strong ability to read and work directly from structural plans and schedules.
- High attention to detail, reliability, and strong work ethic.
- Physical fitness for heavy structural and steel fabrication tasks.
