Print Assistant Operator – Day Shift

Monday to Friday | 6:00am – 2:00pm | $32.18 per hour

Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer specialising in the design and production of high-quality aluminium closures and packaging solutions for the wine, spirits, olive oil, and beverage industries.

With a strong reputation for innovation, precision manufacturing, and exceptional customer service, they supply premium packaging products to customers both nationally and internationally.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and motivated Print Assistant Operator to join their production team on a casual full-time hours basis.

The Role

Working alongside experienced Printing Operators, you will assist with the day-to-day operation of printing machinery, ensuring production runs efficiently while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the operation and set-up of industrial printing machines

Clean ink cylinders and printing components (manual handling up to 10kg)

Prepare inks, materials and equipment for production runs

Monitor print quality and identify any defects

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Support machine changeovers and general production duties

About You

To be successful, you will have:

Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment

A strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

The ability to safely perform repetitive manual handling tasks

Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work

A reliable work ethic with excellent punctuality

A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team
