About the role

Our Operations team, composed of 15 people, operates a world-class Hydrogen Peroxide manufacturing facility focusing on safety, growth, technical excellence, product quality and community involvement.

As a Shift Operator, you will work on daily plant operation tasks, shift relief coverage and HSE compliance implementation to support the smooth and safe running of our hydrogen peroxide manufacturing facility. You will get the opportunity to contribute to team operational efficiency and production stability and have a positive impact on worksite safety standards, product quality and long-term plant sustainable development. You will be accountable for:

Being a reliable and capable Shift Operator to join our Operations Team and support our plant.

The successful candidate will learn all aspects of operations, initially on a weekday roster. From there, the person will move into a shift relief roster - working on either day/night roster covering annual leave, sick leave and / or plant demand.

Support the plant and follow the HSE regulations, chemical / Petrochemical Plant Operation Experience.

Technical Skills - ability to operate a forklift and learn a complex chemical plant.

Dangerous goods handling, experience in Major Hazard Facility is a plus.

We offer a permanent contract based on shifts & onsite working mode.

About you

Relevant education degree or equivalent, Relevant work experience in chemical or other industrial plant experiences with Licensed to operate a forklift (must have) and experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Competencies:

Safety Awareness /Compliance - Strong understanding of and adherence to workplace safety regulations.

Communication Skills - Clear verbal and written communication to report issues or receive instruction. Good computer skills - basic knowledge of Excel/Outlook/Word.

Technical Skills - ability to operate a forklift and learn a complex chemical plant. Attention to detail - ability to follow directions, instructions, correctly document information and undertake audits.

About the pay

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is AU$ 112,921.25 per year in Australia
