This role offers front‑row exposure to the Boards and C‑suite leadership of SGX‑listed companies, with the opportunity to play an active role in shaping key corporate and strategic outcomes across Singapore’s capital markets ecosystem.
Introduction to the Role
You will work closely with SGX-listed issuers, their Boards and senior management, advising on continuing listing obligations, M&A, fund raising and governance matters. It involves direct, hands‑on engagement with regulators and professional advisers, and requires the ability to think independently, exercise sound judgement and communicate with clarity and confidence at the Board and senior management level. The role is structured to accelerate your development through early responsibility, meaningful client exposure and opportunities to take initiative in driving outcomes for clients.
Responsibilities include:
Manage and develop client relationships for a portfolio of sponsored SGX‑listed companies, including regular interaction with Boards and C‑suite stakeholders
Advise clients on corporate actions, fund‑raising exercises, mergers and acquisitions, and ongoing listing obligations
Review announcements, shareholder circulars, press releases and other regulatory disclosures with a focus on clarity, accuracy and market positioning
Advise Boards and management on SGX rules, compliance and corporate governance matters
Prepare submissions and engage regulators to resolve issues accurately and in a timely manner
Coordinate project timelines and ensure deliverables meet regulatory and client deadlines
Take ownership of workstreams, proactively identify issues and propose practical solutions to clients and internal stakeholders
Candidate Profile
Relevant experience in corporate finance, audit, banking, compliance or legal advisory
(typically 3–5 years for Assistant Manager; 5+ years for Manager).
Candidates from adjacent backgrounds who demonstrate intellectual curiosity, strong initiative and a willingness to step up, take ownership and learn quickly are encouraged to apply.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage client relationships with professionalism and discretion
Analytical, detail-oriented and able to exercise sound judgement
A proactive mindset to engage senior stakeholders and contribute meaningfully in discussions
Demonstrated ability (or strong desire) to take initiative and go beyond defined scope where required
