|MENS HEALTH CLINIC | TELEHEALTH DOCTOR | TRT (Prescribe Testosterone)
TRT Australia
Location: Fully remote – Australia-wide
Engagement: Contract / Casual / Part-time
Earning Potential: $200–$300+ per hour, depending on workload and payment structure

About the Role

TRT Australia is looking for experienced Australian-registered doctors interested in providing telehealth consultations in men’s hormone health and testosterone replacement therapy.

This role is designed to work around your existing commitments. Whether you are looking for a regular part-time workload, additional consulting hours alongside your current practice, or occasional contract work, we can structure the engagement accordingly.

Our administrative team handles much of the preparation before a patient reaches you. Patient histories, pathology results, symptom questionnaires and relevant supporting information are organised in advance, allowing you to focus your time on clinical assessment, patient communication and ongoing management.

Why Work With TRT Australia?

100% Remote – Consult from anywhere in Australia.

Flexible Hours – Choose a workload that fits around your existing practice and commitments.

Competitive Remuneration – Multiple payment structures available, including hourly and per-consult arrangements.

Established Patient Base – Join a growing service with a consistent volume of new and existing patients.

Reduced Administrative Work – Our team coordinates intake, documentation, scheduling and other non-clinical administration.

Purpose-Built Systems – Pathology, medical history and symptom information are organised before clinical review.

Ongoing Patient Management – Opportunities to provide both initial assessments and ongoing clinical reviews.

Clinical Independence – All prescribing and treatment decisions remain the responsibility of the treating practitioner.

About TRT Australia

TRT Australia provides an Australia-wide telehealth pathway for adult men seeking assessment and ongoing management of testosterone deficiency and related hormone concerns.

We work with independent Australian-registered medical practitioners and provide the systems, administration and coordination required to make remote patient management straightforward.

Our service includes structured patient intake, pathology collection and review processes, telehealth consultations, ongoing monitoring, electronic prescribing and pharmacy coordination where required.

Our focus is simple: provide doctors with well-organised clinical information and strong administrative support so they can spend their time practising medicine rather than chasing paperwork.

What You’ll Do

Depending on your agreed workload, your role may include:

Conducting telehealth consultations with new and existing patients.

Reviewing pathology results, medical histories, symptom questionnaires and relevant clinical information.

Assessing patients presenting with symptoms potentially associated with testosterone deficiency.

Making independent clinical decisions regarding diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management.

Prescribing electronically where clinically appropriate.

Conducting synchronous telephone or telehealth consultations where required.

Reviewing existing treatment protocols and patient progress.

Monitoring pathology and treatment response over time.

Adjusting treatment where clinically appropriate.

Providing clear advice and communicating treatment decisions directly with patients.

Completing prescription and clinical reviews for existing patients.

Who We’re Looking For

This role may suit a doctor who:

Enjoys telehealth and is comfortable working entirely remotely.

Wants greater control over their working hours.

Is interested in men’s health and hormone medicine.

Wants to supplement an existing patient list or clinical role.

Is looking for regular part-time work or occasional contract engagements.

Values efficient systems and strong administrative support.

Communicates clearly and professionally with patients.

Takes a thorough, evidence-based approach to clinical decision-making.

Previous experience in testosterone replacement therapy is highly regarded, but it is not essential for the right practitioner.

Remuneration

We understand that different doctors prefer different working arrangements, so we have several options available.

Depending on the role and workload, remuneration can be structured as:

Hourly, monthly or annual fixed arrangements, or

Per-consult / per-review payments for new-patient assessments, consultations and relevant clinical reviews.

Typical earning potential is approximately $200–$300+ per hour, depending on the agreed structure, consultation mix and workload.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Unrestricted registration, without conditions that would prevent the required scope of practice.

An Australian Business Number (ABN), or eligibility to obtain one where required.

Appropriate professional indemnity insurance.

Australian working rights.

The ability to practise and prescribe in accordance with applicable Australian state and territory requirements.

Confidence reviewing pathology and conducting independent clinical assessments.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

A patient-centred approach to telehealth care.

Highly Regarded, But Not Essential

Previous experience in men’s health.

Experience managing testosterone replacement therapy.

Endocrinology, general practice or sexual health experience.

Experience with telehealth.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and e-prescribing platforms.

Application

When applying, please include your CV and be prepared to confirm:

Your current AHPRA registration status.

Your entitlement to work in Australia.

Your professional indemnity insurance status.

Your total years of clinical practice.

Any relevant experience in men’s health, hormone medicine, endocrinology or telehealth.

If you are looking for a flexible remote role that can sit comfortably alongside your existing clinical commitments, we would be pleased to hear from you.
