What you'll be doing
Perform a range of plumbing and gas fitting installation, maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the efficient and safe operation of plumbing and gas systems
Carry out Type A appliance servicing, gas appliance maintenance, gas safety checks and related compliance works
Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing and gas fitting issues. Provide timely and effective solutions and issue compliance certificates as required
Supervise programmed upgrade works and perform quality/safety audits
Comply with all relevant safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work performed
Collaborate with team members to coordinate and prioritise tasks
What we're looking for
A Victorian licenced Plumber / Gasfitter
Current Type A Appliance Servicing Gasfitter qualification / endorsement
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Plumber / Gasfitter in a commercial or industrial setting
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures
