Contract Administrator
We’re currently working with an established but growing construction contractor in a very strong position, with a healthy pipeline of secured work and clear plans for continued growth. They’re now looking to bring on a junior Contract Administrator to support the delivery team.
This role would suit a recent or near‑graduate Civil Engineer, or someone early in their CA career who may have experience in residential or industrial construction and is keen to develop long term in a commercial contracting environment.
More than background alone, this opportunity is about drive, attitude, and a genuine desire to learn and grow within the business.
The role:
- Supporting senior Contract Administrators across live projects
- Assisting with cost control, variations, progress claims and subcontractor packages
- Exposure to procurement, reporting and project financials
- Learning the full Contract Administration lifecycle with hands-on mentorship
About you:
- Degree qualified (or close to completion) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
- 3–5 + years’ experience in a CA, engineering or project support role
- Residential or industrial construction background
- Motivated, proactive, and keen to learn the commercial side of construction
- Strong communication skills and good attention to detail
Why consider this opportunity:
- Join a business with strong momentum and a solid forward workload
- Genuine support and development from experienced senior staff
- Clear long-term career progression for the right person
- North Melbourne–based role
This is a strong entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Contract Administration within a growing construction business.
