Global property investment and development business with a growing portfolio of projects across multiple asset classes. The organisation has a strong balance sheet, an experienced leadership team and a long term approach to creating value through development, repositioning and active asset management.

The role
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, this role will provide financial and commercial support across a portfolio of current and proposed property developments.
Working closely with development and project leaders, you will assess the commercial viability of new opportunities, track project performance and provide recommendations that improve investment outcomes.
This is an analytical and stakeholder-focused position suited to someone who understands the financial drivers of property development and can confidently influence commercial decisions.

• Evaluate the financial viability of proposed property developments
• Develop financial models covering project revenue, costs, timing and investment returns
• Review development assumptions and challenge stakeholders where appropriate
• Assess the financial impact of changes to project scope, delivery timing and construction costs
• Prepare commercial recommendations for new projects and major investment decisions
• Produce concise investment papers for executive and board consideration
• Track project performance against approved commercial parameters
• Investigate emerging cost pressures, delays and changes in expected returns
• Maintain rolling forecasts across the development portfolio
• Provide clear analysis of project performance and expected financial outcomes
• Compare actual project results with original investment assumptions
• Complete post-investment reviews to identify lessons for future developments

To be considered for this role you will need:

• At least three years of experience in property development finance, investment analysis or property advisory
• Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel capability
