Design Manager – Land Development

$170k – $200k package (depending on experience)
We are partnering with a highly regarded land development consultancy to appoint an experienced Design Manager to lead a high-performing team in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.
This is a key leadership role suited to someone who combines strong technical expertise with a genuine passion for people, mentoring, and delivering quality outcomes.
The Role
- Lead, manage and mentor a team of engineers and designers
- Oversee the delivery of land development projects from concept through to completion
- Provide technical guidance and maintain high design standards
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Contribute to business growth and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- Minimum 10 years’ experience within a consultancy environment (land development essential)
- Strong technical background across civil design and project delivery
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and projects
- A natural people person – approachable, supportive, and commercially aware
- Based in, or open to working in, Melbourne’s eastern suburbs
