The Opportunity

This is a high‑impact leadership role for an accomplished business executive with deep experience in Asia. You will partner directly with global leadership and Managing Directors across Asia to accelerate growth, strengthen organizations, identify opportunities, and help shape the future direction of igus in the region.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Leadership: Manage international companies in Asia, coaching and supporting Managing Directors and senior leaders.

Strategic Growth: Develop and implement international growth strategies, lead transformation initiatives, and establish corporate standards.

Operational Support: Support the International Business Unit (IGD) in operational issues and group expansion.

HQ Interface: Bridge headquarters and local contacts on administrative, logistical, and sales objectives.

Performance Monitoring: Track business performance and drive execution of key priorities.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s in International Business or Industrial Engineering.

10+ years of professional and management experience, ideally in industrial, manufacturing, B2B, or technology‑driven organizations.

Fluent English required; Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or German language skills are an advantage.

Strong sales & negotiation skills, decisiveness, resilience, and persuasive communication.

Analytical, structured, and hands‑on approach to complex problem solving.

Open, communicative personality with team spirit and intercultural competence, ideally acquired through longer assignments abroad in Asia.
