About the role

Darwin Smiles is seeking a highly organised and friendly Front Office Coordinator to join our dental practice across our Yarrawonga and Bakewell locations in the Palmerston area. This full-time position is an integral part of the practice team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the front office and delivering exceptional customer service to our patients.

What you'll be doing

Manage the practice's front desk and reception area, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for all patients

Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, maintaining the practice calendar and maximising productivity

Handle patient enquiries, bookings, and other administrative tasks with professionalism and efficiency

Process payments, manage patient records, and maintain accurate documentation

Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment

Assist with instrument sterilisation processing and tracking

Assist with various other practice duties as required

What we're looking for

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar front office or customer service role, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting

Strong customer service skills is a must

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritise and work well under pressure

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and empathetic approach to patient interactions

A genuine team player who works collaboratively and supports the broader practice team

A commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality
