We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to join our team. Based in Brunswick East, this role supports operations across Victoria, Queensland, and South Australia. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR leader to shape and drive a high-performance culture while contributing to the ongoing success of a growing organisation.
Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the General Manager and part of the Senior Management Team, you will lead the full spectrum of HR activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and values. This role requires an HR generalist approach with strong WHS knowledge and the ability to work within all levels of an organisation.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and alignment with company values.
Oversee payroll operations, ensuring the accurate and compliant administration of employee entitlements, awards, and company policies.
Lead talent acquisition, recruitment, onboarding, retention, and workforce planning initiatives.
Drive performance management, employee development, succession planning, and organisational capability-building programs.
Manage employee and industrial relations matters, including workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and WorkCover claims.
Partner with executives and managers to deliver strategic HR initiatives, leverage workforce insights, and ensure compliance with employment, payroll, and WHS legislation.
Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in a senior HR management role, preferably within a family-owned, privately held, or SME environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a practical, analytical, and commercially focused approach.
Sound knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, and industrial relations.
Demonstrated experience driving cultural change and leading teams through periods of growth and transformation.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organisation.
Ability to travel interstate as required.
Strong computer literacy, including HR and Payroll systems
