About the role

Link-Force Au is seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Patcher to join our team on a casual basis. This position is based in Perth, WA 6000. As a Concrete Patcher, you will play an important role in maintaining and repairing concrete surfaces across various projects, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. This is a hands-on position perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors and delivering tangible results.

What you'll be doing

Assess and evaluate concrete surfaces to identify damage, deterioration, and repair requirements

Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and removing loose or damaged material

Apply patching compounds, sealants, and other repair materials to restore concrete integrity

Mix concrete and patching materials to the correct consistency and specifications

Finish and smooth concrete surfaces to match existing finishes and ensure proper drainage

Follow health and safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment at all times

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines

Communicate with supervisors regarding project progress and any challenges encountered

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Concrete Patcher or in a similar concrete repair or construction role

Strong knowledge of concrete repair techniques, materials, and best practices

Proficiency in using concrete patching tools and equipment safely and effectively

Ability to read and interpret specifications and work plans accurately

Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic

Valid driver's licence is advantageous

Current First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain one is preferred

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
