Join a Melbourne-based architecture practice and play a key role in the smooth running and continued development of the studio as it delivers a diverse range of projects across multiple sectors. This role offers broad responsibility across day-to-day operations, team coordination, and project support, working closely with a small, committed group of architects and designers. You’ll help maintain structure across project stages, support internal processes, and contribute to keeping the studio running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support the overall running of the studio, ensuring the smooth coordination and delivery of a diverse portfolio of architectural projects across multiple sectors.

Oversee day-to-day practice operations, including resourcing, workflow management, and team coordination to ensure efficiency and consistency across all project stages.

Support project teams in maintaining high standards of documentation, presentation, and client communication, ensuring outputs are clear, consistent, and well-executed.

Act as a key liaison for clients, consultants, and external collaborators

Support team development through mentoring, guidance, and fostering a collaborative and positive studio culture.

Manage project resourcing, timelines, and financial tracking to ensure projects are delivered effectively and align with broader studio objectives.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in practice management, studio operations, or senior coordination roles within an architecture or design-led environment.

Strong understanding of architectural project workflows across all stages, from concept through to delivery.

Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and support teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Strong communication skills with experience working across internal teams, clients, and external consultants.

Experience in collaborative, design-focused studio environments is essential.

Qualification in architecture, design, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory depending on experience.
