Project Coordinator, Centre of Excellence for Pandemic Preparedness (CoEPP)
Job Purpose
This role supports the effective implementation of the Centre’s initiatives aimed at strengthening pandemic preparedness across the region. The position will contribute to programme execution, coordination, and communication efforts to ensure smooth delivery of activities and consistent engagement with partners and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programme Support & Stakeholder Coordination
Assist and coordinate the implementation of the Centre’s programmes, activities, and strategic initiatives.
Coordinate closely with multiple stakeholder groups of the Centre, including regional partners, CoEPP Taskforce and volunteer workgroups, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-through of planned actions.
2. Administrative & Logistics Coordination
Lead administrative and logistical arrangements for regional meetings, trainings, webinars, workshops, and other relevant events.
Oversee venue coordination, travel arrangements, documentation, and post-event follow-up.
3. Data Collection & Analysis Support
Assist in gathering programme- and outbreak-related data to support monitoring, reporting and analysis of diseases.
Contribute to building, maintaining databases and preparing preliminary summaries to contribute to evidence-based planning.
4. Digital Content & Engagement
Support content creation, curation, and scheduling for the Centre’s online engagements to strengthen outreach and visibility.
Ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment of digital materials with the Centre’s objectives.
5. Communications & Design
Assist in the development and design of newsletters, reports, event collaterals, and other communication materials.
Coordinate printing, production and dissemination of physical and digital materials.
Ensure consistent branding and clear messaging across all outputs.
6. Volunteer Management
Mobilise volunteers in the planning and execution of events
Engage and develop volunteers to become active agents for the Centre
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Public Health, Communications, Social Sciences, or a relevant field.
Strong organisational, communication, and design skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with basic data collection or analysis tools is an advantage.
Strong interest or foundational knowledge in public health and humanitarian work is preferred.
Experience in graphic design or digital content management is preferred.
