About the role

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring achievement of safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and cost objectives. This role directs production activities, material flow, workforce utilization, and resource allocation to meet production schedules and customer requirements while maintaining compliance with regulatory, quality, and company standards. This position reports to the Head of Manufacturing Operations and is part of the Assembly department located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and cost objectives while ensuring compliance with company, regulatory, and quality requirements.
• Plan and optimize manpower, equipment, materials, and production schedules to support operational efficiency, inventory control, and on-time customer delivery.
• Supervise, coach, and develop production associates while driving continuous improvement initiatives through Lean, 5S, Safety, and Kaizen programs.

About you

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production operations, including direct supervision of production associates in a shopfloor environment.
• Experience using production performance metrics and operational reporting tools to manage safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and workforce performance.
• Previous experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in medical device manufacturing and/or GMP-regulated environments.
• Previous experience in Lean manufacturing, DBS, Kaizen, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies.
