Casual or Subcontractor/ Sole Trader Support Worker (Greek Speaking) – Elderly Care, Greystanes

We're seeking a warm, reliable support worker to assist an 89-year-old woman in Greystanes, 2 days per week (Monday & Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm 0R 9am-5pm).

Essential requirements:

Conversational Greek (essential — this is a primary requirement of the role)

Experience with manual handling (assisting with walking and transfers)

Experience working with elderly or vulnerable people

Current driver's licence and own reliable vehicle

Current National Police Check and willingness to provide compliance documents before starting

Preferred but not essential:

First Aid/CPR certificate

The role:

Companionship and social engagement throughout the day

Mobility assistance — walking and transfers

Meal preparation assistance

Light housekeeping

Errands and appointments

No formal qualifications required — training and support will be provided.

Pay: $50–$60/hour, negotiable based on experience and suitability.

Engagement: Casual employee or subcontractor (ABN) considered.
