Bar, Waiting and Gaming Staff

We currently have a casual position available for Bar Waiting and Gaming staff at the Pretoria Hotel.

Excellent hourly rates available, with an annual award rate review

15-25 hours per week available, mostly Wednesday to Sunday

Level 2 Bar: Mon-Fri $33.85, Sat $40.62, Sun $47.39, PH $67.70

Level 3 Gaming: Mon-Fri $34.96, Sat $41.96, Sun $48.95, PH $69.93

Monday to Friday after 7pm loadings and overtime rates also apply

Free on site staff parking

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for casual bar, waiting and gaming staff to join the team. This is perfect for someone that has a passion for the hospitality industry, enjoys keeping busy, and wants to be part of a fun, friendly and supportive team.

The successful applicant will learn skills in food service including counter service and table service plus opportunities for functions. For those that are interested in the bar, training on beer pouring, wine, spirits, cocktails and coffee making are all available. Future training opportunities exist in gaming, TAB, Keno and SA Lotteries if desired. A blend of bar, waiting and gaming shifts are available.

If you have some prior experience that's a bonus but full training can be provided to enthusiastic applicants. Having a bright and easy smile, being well mannered, great at making eye contact and greeting customers will go a long way in this role.
