ROUSSOS Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded commercial contractor in the search for an experienced Estimator to join its Adelaide team.

Working alongside an experienced pre-construction team, you will play a key role in preparing competitive tenders while contributing to the continued success of a business recognised for quality, innovation, and collaboration.

The Role

As an Estimator, you will manage tenders from initial enquiry through to successful handover, working closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to deliver commercially competitive submissions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing accurate cost estimates across commercial fit-out and construction projects
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Completing quantity take-offs and preparing tender submissions
• Obtaining and reviewing subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Assessing project risks and identifying value engineering opportunities
• Liaising with internal stakeholders throughout the tender process
• Supporting successful project handovers to delivery teams
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and industry partners

You will bring:

• Approximately 5+ years' estimating experience within commercial construction
• Experience pricing commercial projects valued above $20M
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and tender processes
• Excellent commercial acumen and attention to detail
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to manage multiple tenders within a fast-paced environment
