$36.01 p/h + super
About the role
You'll create a safe, engaging environment for primary school-aged children in after school care. Your day will include supervising activities that inspire creativity, teamwork, and confidence—such as arts and crafts, sports, and group games—along with preparing and serving light snacks.
Key responsibilities
Supervise activities that inspire creativity, teamwork, and confidence
Facilitate arts and crafts, sports, and group games
Prepare and serve light snacks
Maintain a strong focus on child safety and wellbeing - Active supervision, identifying and responding to hazards and safeguarding
About you
Experience in Before & After School Care or Childcare
Sound knowledge of child protection practices
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A positive, team-focused attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively
Understanding of children's developmental needs
Current Paid Working With Children Check
Food Handling Certificate
National Police Check
Geccko Child Safety Training
Two work related references (ready to be contacted)
