$36.32 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications - please note that junior rates may apply)

We are currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Aqua Aerobics Instructor to join our PCYC Innisfail Pool. This role will assist in the delivery of our aquatic programs to PCYC clients. Whether you are experienced or new to this industry, if you are hard-working and love all things fitness and aquatics, then we want you!

Your New Role

Reporting to the Aquatic Facility Manager, you will be one of our valuable Aquatic Aerobics Instructors who deliver our broad range of group aquatic programs to our PCYC clients of all ages. You will be responsible for contributing towards improving our programs, attracting new participants, assisting with the development of junior staff and commit to a high level of customer service at all times. About You

  • Hold a minimum Certificate III or equivalent AQF qualification in a relevant area of practice
  • More than 2 years’ instructional experience in the relevant area of practice
  • Demonstrated experience working with children, young adults, special needs and socially challenged groups using sports and exercise
  • Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Austswim WETS qualification
  • Aqua Fitness qualification (broze, silver, or gold)
  • Coaching accreditation through Swimming Australia
