RRETS Group is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced NBN Complex Works Technicians to support a growing pipeline of telecommunications infrastructure projects across Queensland.

We are looking for motivated, safety-focused professionals who enjoy working in the field and have experience delivering complex telecommunications infrastructure projects to a high standard. About the Role

As an NBN Complex Works Technician, you will be responsible for delivering a range of telecommunications construction, maintenance and network upgrade activities.

Your duties may include:

Fibre cable hauling, installation and remediation

Fibre splicing, jointing and OTDR testing

NBN pit and pipe construction and remediation

Network fault finding, restoration and commissioning

Pole-based telecommunications works

Operating bucket trucks (EWP), VAC trucks, excavators, skid steers and other construction plant

Working safely on or near utility infrastructure

Reading and interpreting construction drawings and work instructions

Completing quality assurance records and project documentation

Manual labour associated with telecommunications construction and maintenance works

Essential Requirements

Demonstrated experience in NBN Complex Works or telecommunications infrastructure

Current Australian Driver Licence

Current Construction White Card

Hold all relevant licences, competencies, tickets, accreditations and certifications required to undertake NBN Complex Works

Appropriate Australian working rights

Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual labour in outdoor environments

Strong commitment to workplace health, safety and quality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to travel and work throughout regional and remote Queensland

Highly Desirable

Fibre Splicing accreditation and OTDR testing experience

NBN Pit & Pipe accreditation

Working at Heights

Confined Space Entry

Bucket Truck (EWP) operating experience

Vacuum Excavation (VAC Truck) experience

Excavator, Skid Steer and other plant operator tickets

Traffic Management qualifications

First Aid & CPR

MR, HR or HC Driver Licence

Experience working on or near power poles and utility infrastructure
