Responsibilities

Operate a lorry crane to lift, move and reposition loads safely and accurately.

Follow instructions from the ground crew through radio communication or hand signals.

Direct helpers in positioning outriggers and blocks to ensure lifting stability.

Inspect rigging arrangements and ensure they comply with load charts and manufacturer guidelines.

Assess load weights against the crane's lifting capacity to prevent overloading.

Coordinate with customers on the safe and accurate movement of materials and equipment.

Conduct daily safety checks on the lorry crane and related equipment.

Inspect, clean and perform basic operator-level maintenance on crane mechanisms and hoisting components.

Arrange periodic maintenance and repairs when the vehicle or equipment malfunctions.

Complete the required paperwork and work-operation reports.

Comply with safety regulations, company policies and operating procedures.

Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Possess a valid Singapore Class 4 driving license or above.

Possess a recognised crane operator training certificate or license.

At least 2 years of relevant experience operating lift trucks, overhead cranes, mobile cranes or lorry cranes.

Familiar with Singapore roads and routes.

Good knowledge of crane operation techniques and standard hand signals.

Good driving and safety record.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Willing to work overtime, weekends or public holidays when operationally required.

Comfortable working in noisy, dusty and non-air-conditioned environments.

Able to wear the required personal protective equipment while on duty.
