Could you be our next HR Driver?

Based out of a busy scaffolding yard near Brendale, this is a hands-on transport role delivering and collecting scaffold equipment across Brisbane and surrounding regions.

This is not simply a "drive from A to B" position. You'll be loading and securing equipment, navigating active construction sites and using either a truck-mounted Moffett forklift or crane to complete deliveries safely.

Your new role

• Deliver and collect scaffold equipment from construction sites
• Operate a 10-tonne flatbed truck fitted with a Moffett forklift
• Operate a six-tonne crane truck when required
• Load, unload and correctly secure scaffold equipment
• Use forklifts, chains, slings and load-restraint equipment safely
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and required paperwork
• Follow site instructions and unload equipment in designated areas
• Navigate residential, commercial and occasionally restricted-access sites
• Communicate with site supervisors, yard staff and the transport team
• Return to the Joyner yard for unloading, loading and preparation for the next run
• Support yard operations when required

What you'll need

• Current HR driver's licence
• Current forklift licence
• Experience driving heavy rigid vehicles
• Strong understanding of load restraint and transport safety
• Confidence entering and manoeuvring around construction sites
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Construction White Card
• Reliable transport and the ability to accommodate early starts

A Dogman ticket, Moffett experience and truck-mounted crane experience will be highly regarded.

The reality of the role

• You'll be delivering heavy scaffold equipment to active construction sites
• Some sites have limited access and will require confident vehicle handling
• Deliveries may extend from the Gold Coast and Toowoomba through to Caboolture or Noosa
• Most unloading is completed using the Moffett, crane or site equipment
• Manual work generally involves chains, slings and tie-downs, although occasional hand unloading may be required with assistance
• Start and finish times will vary depending on site requirements, traffic and collection schedules

Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Typical start: 5:00AM-5:30AM
• Finish times vary between 3pm-5:30pm
• Some flexibility may be available for experienced permanent drivers to take a truck home when operationally suitable
