As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with contractual requirements. You will take ownership of the full project lifecycle, managing both the design and construction phases and working closely with consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to achieve the best outcome.

Our client is a family-owned civil and commercial construction company based in Toowoomba, delivering infrastructure that enriches communities. Due to a strong and growing pipeline of work, our client is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their team and lead the successful delivery of a diverse range of commercial construction projects across Toowoomba and the Darling Downs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the project from design development through to construction and handover
• Manage all commercial aspects including budgets, forecasting, procurement and cost control
• Oversee head contract compliance and subcontract management
• Coordinate design teams to ensure buildability and program alignment
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders
• Lead and mentor project teams, including engineers and site staff
• Monitor project progress, manage risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure all works meet safety, quality and regulatory requirements

Profile

About You

• 3 - 5+ years commercial experience within AU/NZ delivering commercial construction projects, ideally within a Design & Construct environment
• Strong commercial and contractual acumen
• Demonstrated ability managing budgets, programs and subcontractors
• Experience managing relationships across clients, consultants and site teams
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive accountability and culture on-site
• A practical, solutions-focused approach

Job Offer

• Competitive salary package ranging from $170,000 to $199,000 AUD.
