About Our Client:

Our client is a well-established, nationally recognised law firm with a strong Brisbane-based professional liability and insurance litigation practice. The team acts across professional indemnity, D&O and management liability claims for a genuinely broad client base -- underwriters, brokers, insureds, representative bodies, and professionals across accounting, engineering, architecture, financial advice and healthcare.

The firm holds strong standing across the insurance market and is independently recognised for its litigation and dispute resolution work.

The Role:

This is a genuine opportunity for an early-career lawyer to be mentored by senior professional liability specialists, build strong client relationships and develop expertise across a varied and intellectually engaging caseload.

You'll manage your own file load with direct client contact from an early stage, working closely with senior lawyers on drafting, negotiations and matter completion, while contributing to the team's ongoing learning and development.

There is a clear path to more senior professional liability work as your experience grows.

What We Are Looking For:

- Looking for at least 3 years post-admission experience in professional indemnity, insurance litigation or commercial litigation (from private practice)
- Current or eligible Queensland Practising Certificate
- Proactive, positive approach with strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with internal and external clients
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with limited supervision
