We are currently seeking experienced Civil Supervisors to join an established civil contractor working across a range of regional projects in Western Australia.
These opportunities are ideal for Supervisors with a strong background in civil construction, bulk earthworks and site supervision who are looking for consistent work on a 2:1 FIFO/DIDO roster.
With multiple projects underway and further work in the pipeline, these positions have the potential to lead to long-term, ongoing employment for the right candidates.
The Role
As a Civil Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
You will work closely with Project Managers, site teams, operators and subcontractors to coordinate activities and keep production moving.
Depending on the project, your responsibilities may include:
- Supervising civil construction and bulk earthworks activities
- Coordinating site crews, plant and subcontractors
- Managing daily site activities and ensuring works are progressing to program
- Monitoring productivity, quality and safety across the site
- Conducting pre-starts, toolbox meetings and site inspections
- Ensuring work is completed in accordance with project specifications and procedures
- Liaising with Project Managers and other site personnel
- Identifying and addressing any issues that may impact safety, productivity or project delivery
- Maintaining a strong focus on site safety and environmental requirements
- Providing leadership and direction to operators and site personnel
About You
- Previous experience working as a Civil Supervisor
- Strong experience across civil construction and/or bulk earthworks
- A minimum HR Licence
- Current S26, or evidence that your S26 has been booked
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- The ability to coordinate and manage site crews effectively
- Experience working with heavy mobile plant and civil construction equipment
- A strong understanding of safety, quality and environmental requirements
- The ability to work effectively on a FIFO/DIDO roster
- A practical, hands-on approach to site supervision
A background in operating plant is highly advantageous, particularly for candidates who have progressed from an operating background into supervision.
Please note: Applicants must have Australian working rights and be able to provide evidence of the required licences, tickets and S26 requirements.
