Electrician Wanted - First Hire Opportunity

$55–$60/hr (for the right candidate) + Super + Vehicle + Commission | Gold Coast, QLD | Full-Time

Let's not pretend: we're paying more than we probably need to. Not because we're bad at math, but because we'd rather back the right person properly than save a few dollars an hour and lose them to the next ad down the page. Vehicle, fuel card, tools, and training all included.

Who We Are

INEX Electrical is a Gold Coast-based electrical business about to make its first real hire - no pressure. We handle electrical upgrades, switchboard work, split-system air conditioning, and EV charger installations. We're not a big fleet operation with a logo on 50 vans (yet) - we're small, hands-on, and focused on doing great work and building a team that actually enjoys the job.

Who We're After

Not someone chasing a title or a trophy - just a genuinely solid electrician who:

Can be handed a job and get on with it. You're capable of working independently, but you're not too proud to call when something's actually gone wrong (we've all been there)

Wants a role they can still be in three years from now, not just until the next shiny offer rolls past

Takes feedback well and actually acts on it

Works well with a team, gets along with people, and doesn't take the small stuff too seriously

Is reliable - shows up on time, and is honest about taking a day off when they genuinely need one

Wants genuine input at a fast-growing company, not just a name badge and a ute

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Switchboard upgrades, rewires, and general electrical servicing

Split-system air conditioning installs and replacements (an RTA refrigerant handling licence is a strong plus - happy to help you get one if you don't already hold it)

EV charger installations

Diagnosing and solving problems on-site, and knowing when to actually pick up the phone
