Best Western Queen Victoria Market Hotel is a 4-level hotel with 42 rooms, located in the heart of West Melbourne. Just a 1-minute walk from Melbourne’s iconic Queen Victoria Market, our hotel caters to both international and local travellers seeking comfort, convenience and warm hospitality.

We are currently seeking multiple enthusiastic and experienced Hotel Reception Staff to join our team.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in a hotel reception role (essential)

Strong customer service experience (essential)

Experience in hotel housekeeping (desirable)

Familiarity with Melbourne tourist attractions and public transport

A genuinely warm, welcoming and professional demeanour

Availability to work morning, evening and weekend shifts

Full working rights in Australia

Key Responsibilities:

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Providing efficient, friendly and professional service to all guests

Warmly welcoming guests and ensuring a positive first impression

Organising, confirming and processing guest check-ins and check-outs

Responding to guest requests, enquiries and complaints promptly via face to face or online

Securing payments and verifying or adjusting guest billing as required

Checking room cleanliness and presentation prior to guest arrival

Dust, vacuum, and mop floors

Maintain guest room security
