Recruitment Select is seeking expressions of interest from mechanically and electrically minded individuals to join a large, well-established manufacturing company in Benalla. The role is expected to commence within the next 4 to 6 weeks, with interviews likely to be held during this period.

The role will commence on a casual six-month contract (full-time hours required), with the potential for permanent full-time positions in the future for select candidates. Working hours will be Monday-Friday, day shift (6:00am-2:15pm).

Full training will be provided. Wages will be negotiated based on experience. Candidates with licensed electrical qualifications or a relevant degree in mechanics/electrical will be eligible for higher pay rates. This is a hands-on role so you will be required to use hand/power tools confidently, on your own, following drawings and instructions to assemble products.

What You'll Be Doing

• Electrical product and switchboard assembly
• Refurbishment of transformers, kiosks and switchgear
• Wiring, conduit installation and cable running
• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
• Reliable with a solid work ethic
• Good attention to detail
• Physically fit and capable of hands-on work
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Electrical qualifications or relevant studies highly regarded
